Terms: Permanente Contract / Full-Time 40h weekly
Salary: Annual Gross 30k - 35k (based on experience and inclusive of 2 Holidays Allowances)
Schedule: Monday to Friday – 09h00 to 17h30
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Learning and Development (L&D) Manager will be responsible for establishing and executing our learning and development strategy from the ground up. As the first member of our L&D team, you will work directly with the Chief People Officer and the rest of the business to create, implement, and continuously improve learning initiatives that enhance the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of our team. This is a hands-on role that requires someone who is both strategic and operational, capable of designing and delivering training programs, and developing future-focused initiatives to support the growth of our team.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Strategy Development
- Partner with the Chief People Officer to define a comprehensive learning and development strategy that supports company growth and aligns with organizational goals.
- Identify training needs through collaboration with department leaders.
- Experience in developing metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of training initiatives
- Design and implement training programs across various levels and roles, ensuring they are engaging, effective, and aligned with best practices in learning and development.
- Develop and deliver onboarding programs for new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the company culture and processes.
- Facilitate workshops, seminars, and on-the-job training sessions as required, adapting training delivery methods to suit diverse learner needs and learning styles.
- Create or source content for training materials, including handbooks, guides, e-learning modules, and interactive tools.
- Leverage digital learning tools and platforms to ensure training is accessible, scalable, and trackable.
- Curate external resources and identify partnerships with relevant training providers when appropriate.
Career Development and Succession Planning
- Design career path frameworks and succession planning strategies to support employees’ professional growth and help retain talent.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and development guidance to employees and managers, helping them identify career development goals and learning opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in L&D, incorporating modern learning methods and technologies as appropriate.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of programs and make adjustments to improve engagement, retention, and skill application
